2021-2022 RE-ENROLLMENT (GRADES PREK-12) AND MAGNET SCHOOL LOTTERY APPLICATIONS (PREK-5) HAVE OPENED.

RE-ENROLLMENT (GRADES PREK - 12)

If you are a current student and do not wish to change schools, please fill out a re-enrollment packet. Re-enrollment packets will open during the regular registration period starting 7/19/2021.

If your home address did not change since last year, the school district will only require a current utility bill as proof of residency. Be prepared to upload your latest bill online through SchoolMint.

Re-Enrollment will open for all students on July 21. Please use the same SchoolMint username from last year, as this will make your experience easier. If you do not remember your username from last year, contact SchoolMint support at 1 (855) 957-3535.

LOTTERY APPLICATIONS (GRADES PREK - 5)

Only new students to the district or current students wishing to change schools need to fill out a lottery application.

If you are new to the district,

  • Create a SchoolMint Account
  • Select NEW STUDENT
  • Rank the 5 elementary magnet schools in order of preference. To view information regarding our elementary schools please visit http://www.columbuscityschools.org/district-info/magnet-school-lottery/.
  • After the lottery, you will receive placement notification through your email account or a text message on your cell phone
  • Log back in to SchoolMint to complete the registration process.

If you are a current student wishing to change schools,

  • Login to your SchoolMint Account
  • Decline your re-enrollment
  • Fill out the lottery application
  • After the lottery, you will receive placement notification through your email account or a text message on your cell phone
  • Log back in to SchoolMint to complete the registration process.

RE-ENROLLMENT, LOTTERY APPLICATIONS, AND REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE.

If you do not have a computer or smartphone to use to register online, please call the Brandon Central Service Center at 662-241-7400 to schedule an appointment to register. A mask is required to visit the building.

NOTE: The district strongly recommends using an email account as the user name in SchoolMint. If you do not have one, you can create a free one at yahoo.com or gmail.com.
