Third grade students have begun their preparations for the MKAS2. Work with your child at home to insure ultimate success! Refer to your child’s newsletters for ideas on how to help, and remember, reading with your child EVERY DAY is the easiest way to help them grow!
Students at Sale Elementary were able to attend a Career Development Day on Friday, March 3rd. Students were exposed to multiple career oppurtunities and younger students were also able to enjoy tours of fire trucks and safety vehicles.
September is Attendance Awareness Month! Check out this video to see how impactful a student’s steady attendance can be on academic growth.
Sale students will begin school on August 4th, 2016!
Field Day will be held on Tuesday, May 17th, and will serve as our behavior incentive. Invitations will be given out on Monday the 16th based on positive behaviors displayed through the month of May. Students should wear athletic clothing and be coated in sunscreen before school.
The 3rd Grade Summative Assessment will be held on April 12th at 8:30 am. You can help your child perform their best by making sure that they get lots of sleep the night before and a great breakfast on the morning of the test!
Students will perform in a Black History Program and parents will be invited to visit teachers and classrooms. This will also be our family math night. This event will be held on February 23rd, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Read Across America will be hosted at our school on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016. This will be a day to enjoy literacy activities in their classrooms. An all frills pajama day!!
